It dates from 2002. In the interim many superior works on the Me 262 have appeared so this book is not as useful to the general enthusiast as it might once have been.

Physically, the book is a 6-1/2" x 9-1/2" square bound card cover with|About the Author|Top author is a Polish aviation historian and modeller, specialising in the history of Luftwaffe aircraft.

A technical history of the world's first operational jet fighter, this book illustrates all aspects of the plane, using modern photographs of restored examples, wartime photographs, excerpts from official manuals, scale plans of all day fighter versions and illustrations of camouflage and markings.
