This is basically the "handouts" from a lecture given on the design of the aircraft and does not say anything about the operational deployment of this aircraft.
This case study describes the overall development of the T-38/F-5 family of fighter/trainer aircraft in terms of configuration development motivation and constraints. Selected systems are examined in detail, including the constraints, specifications, and trade-offs that led to important design decisions.
